Subaru Loves Our Pets

Subaru will donate $250 to the ASPCA for every new vehicle bought or leased between November 19th and January 3rd.There will be local events held at Subaru dealers all across the United States. Call your local Subaru dealer to find out when and where one will be held in your area.

This year, Subaru’s “Share the Love Event" kicks off on November 19th and runs through January 3rd. Once again, Subaru is sharing their love with five charities. For the fourth year in a row, Subaru has selected the ASPCA to be one of their five charities. Since 2008, the ASPCA has received in excess of $4 million dollars from Subaru dealers and from Subaru owners. That kind of generosity shows the love and concern that the consumer and the manufacturer alike has for our furry companions.

How it works

For every Subaru sold or leased between November 19th and January 3rd, Subaru will donate $250 in the customer’s name to the charity of his choosing from among the five charities partnering with Subaru. Subaru has established an understanding with the ASPCA, where 60 percent of the ASPCA’s share of the Share the Love donations will go to shelter grants. The ASPCA’s shelter grants are used to help local shelters continue their life saving work with homeless cats and dogs.

Get the word out to Buy Subaru

We are a pet loving nation. According to the American Veterinarian Medical Association, 63 percent of all U.S. households have a pet. According to a study conducted by the Pet Food Institute, there are 75 million dogs and 85 million cats sharing our homes and showering us with unconditional love. We are also a car loving nation with roughly 16.2 million new cars, trucks and SUVs sold every year in the United States. We love companion animals and we love our cars, so why not buy from a manufacturer who loves our companion animals just as much as we do? Buy a Subaru and get a premium quality vehicle and help our homeless companion animal in the process. There has never been a more auspicious time or a better reason to buy a Subaru then right now when they are guaranteeing a minimum $250 donation for every vehicle sold or leased.

We need your help

We need your help in getting the word out. As part of their participation in the Subaru “Share the Love” event, the ASPCA is matching Subaru dealers around the country with community to hold events at dealerships, including pet adoptions, collection drives, pet pictures with Santa and other fun activities. Even if you are not in the market to buy or lease a new vehicle this year, you can attend one of these convenient events. Bring your furry companion along to have their picture taken with Santa. Enjoy the free refreshments being served and make a small donation to help your local shelter. Subaru will match your cash donation's dollar for dollar. The ASPCA will be holding adoption clinics at the same time so you can adopt a wonderful companion who is desperately in need of a loving forever home. To find out when and where an event will be held in your area, just call you local Subaru dealer.
