Thanks Roberta, I've tried Joint Care here in the UK and that was expesnive and useless! It's funny cos he is much better today so I think it is arthritis.He can still jump on my bed when he wants to!! I'll see if Pets at Home has the fluid. more

Most dog rescues are established before they start getting donations.  They are adopting animals, pulling animals, the whole nine yards.  Your best bet is to talk to your local Petsmart about how to adopt animals out of their facility, talk to pet food companies about donating food, and ask around the community.  Also make sure you obtain a 501(c)(3) from the IRS for your not profit... more

There is not much you can do.  There may be estate laws and the such, but it would be difficult to pursue, and may cause other interfamilial issues.  Unfortunately I would suggest dropping the issue, and if you are still very upset about it talk to your sister. more

Try looking for things on the internet that lists certain and easy ways to get rid of those kinds of birds.  Sometimes they can over run things like a brid house. There should be something that you can do. Try buying things that distract them from the home of things that do not like. more

There are many different no-kill shelters in the US. If happen to live near VA or WV then you would definately be able to find one as I know of atleast three around my home. more

Siince there are many physical similarities between animals and human beings, it is felt that many chemicals, medicines, and cosmetics can be tried on animals first to see if they are reltively safe for human beings. That is the reason behind animal testing of medicines. more

One of the best ways is to hit them where it hurts, the wallet. I had a neighbor that would not stop his dog from barking. I filed a complaint with the city and he was cited. I showed up at the hearing with an incident log showing times the dog was barking and every time I called the owner. The judge slapped him with a $200 fine. This happened twice. The neighbor moved, problem solved. more
